I work alongside my clients and together we gain a greater understanding into who they are, how they form relationships and how their experiences, outlook and expectations are affecting their present situation. This is done by providing a confidential space free from judgemental bias, embodied by curiosity, empathy, challenge and insight. The therapeutic relationship (client/therapist) is agent of change, as it forms in the sessions a nuanced flow of communication unfolds. It is with this shared language that deeper exploration begins.
I studied at City Lit and the Institute of Group Analysis where I achieved diplomas in Person Centred Counselling and Group Analytic Psychotherapy respectively. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been a practising therapist for five years.
