Number 42's Reduced Fee Service offers open ended counselling and psychotherapy sessions. It operates on Monday mornings, Fridays and weekend and it is staffed by carefully selected trainee psychotherapists in the advanced stages of their training as well as by qualified volunteer therapists.
Sessions are charged on a sliding scale depending on your income. The minimum fee is a weekly standing order of £15.
Assessments for this service are charged at £50. As the assessment is conducted by a senior practitioner and is a therapeutic experience in itself, this fee will be charged in advance of the meeting and whether or not a therapist recommendation follows and/or is successful.
